Sammy Potashnick (June 3, 1974 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Sikeston, MO. He competed in two Craftsman Truck Series and one Nationwide Series event in his career. He was suspended for violating NASCAR's substance abuse policy in 2002.
Craftsman Truck Series

Potashnick's races in this series both came in 1998. Starting 28th in his debut at Memphis, Potashnick fell quite a number of laps down in the race and finished in 26th. He was not able to improve at Las Vegas, struggling to 31st.
Busch Series

Potashnick waited until 2002 to make his Busch debut, competing at Gateway for Jay Robinson Racing. Starting 38th in the field, Potashnick fell a number of laps down in the race and struggled to 30th. He was likely to compete in more races for the team, but was suspended for drug use.
