Ron Lamell
From The Third Turn, a Wikia wiki
Ron Lamell is a former NASCAR driver from Essex Junction, VT. He competed in thirteen Nationwide Series events in his career.
Lamell's debut came in 1989, when he competed at Nazareth. Starting 32nd in the field, Lamell just stayed out of trouble and finished a respectable 18th. Unfortunately, that was his best run of the year as he finished 20th at ORP and crashed to 30th at Dover.
Lamell's busiest year on the circuit was in 1990, when he finished 44th in points following an eight-race year. Despite two DNFs, Lamell struggled to find any consistency at all. His only top-twenty during the year was a career-best 16th at Dover and his second-best finish was just a 21st at Loudon. Still, Lamell finished no worse than 30th and ran respectably for the season.
Lamell went down to a one-race deal in 1991, returning to Loudon. Starting 28th in the field of forty-six, Lamell completed all but six laps to turn in a solid 20th place finish.
Finally, Lamell made his final start in 1992, yet again at Loudon. This time, Lamell earned a career best 13th place start at the track, completed all but seveteen laps and finished 26th.
