Robert Jack Ingram ( December 28th 1936 - ) was NASCAR driver from Asheville North Carolina. He competed in 101 Nationwide Series events in his career, spanning from 1983 to 1988. He earned 10 top-fives, thirty-five top-tens and one pole (1987-South Boston). His best career finish was a trio of seconds, and he also finished a best of 10th in the 1987 point standings.

Tragedy has struck the ``Farewell Tour`` of old pro and five-time NASCAR Grand National champion Jack Ingram.
The Asheville driver`s son, Robbie, 28, died Monday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington from injuries suffered in a wreck while towing his father`s race car home Sunday from the Kroger 200 Saturday night in Indianapolis. Robbie`s son, Justin, 9, and crewman Scott Perman also were in the truck. Justin was treated and released. Perman was uninjured.
Jack Ingram, 54, who earned the nickname ``Iron Man`` for running up to 60 races per season in NASCAR `s old late model sportsman division, is in the midst of a limited schedule to say goodbye to the fan following he built during a career spanning 29 years. -AP Wire
