Rick Carelli is a race car driver from Denver, Colorado who drove the famed number 6 all over the West Coast from California to Vancouver BC.

Nicknamed, "The High Plains Drifter, he won multiple times in the Craftsman Truck Series and was a champion in the NASCAR Southwest Tour. He suffered near-fatal injuries when his truck hit the wall during a race at Memphis Motorsports Park in 1999. He recovered and returned to win another race with an underfunded team that he was the crew chief for. He is now the team manager and spotter for Kevin Harvick Incorporated.
