Rich Vogler

Rich Vogler (July 26, 1950 - July 21, 1990) was a NASCAR driver from Chicago, IL. He made one Busch Series and Nextel Cup Series start in his career.

Vogler's Busch effort came in 1988, when Vogler raced at Rockingham. Starting 33rd in the field of thirty-nine, Vogler fell some five laps down but still managed to drive to a solid 17th place finish.

Vogler was schedule to make his Cup debut in 1990, racing at Pocono. Vogler had qualified for the race, but in a tragic turn of events, was killed the night before his scheduled debut in a sprint car race at Salem Speedway. Vogler was given credit for starting the race, finishing 40th with a "did not start" listed as a reason of DNF
