Nero Steptoe (April 8, 1921 -June 29, 1985) was a NASCAR and GASCAR driver from Albany, GA. He competed in five Nextel Cup Series events in his career.

Steptoe's debut came in 1953, when he competed at Atlanta. Starting positions in the field of seventeen are unknown, but he had a respectable race that landed him with a career-best 11th place finish.

Steptoe's next race came in 1954, when he competed at Daytona Beach. Starting 43rd in the large field of sixty-two, Steptoe again had a solid respectable midpack effort by bringing his car home in 29th.

Steptoe's final three races had to wait until the 1962 season, when he got things started off at Chattanooga. It was a rough race for the driver, as a wheel bearing issue left him last (21st). He didn't fare much better in the next two races, DNFing to a 20th at Nashville and 15th at Huntsville.
