Matt Crafton from Tulare, California was born June 11,1976. He drives the 88 Menards Chevrolet in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Matt's career went national when he became involved in the 1998 Winter Heat series shown on ESPN at Tucson Raceway Park. He raced against other current NASCAR top guns, Greg Biffle, Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, and Ron Hornaday. Since 2001, he has competed in the Truck Series, all but one of the years with ThorSport Motorsports. He ran 2004 with Kevin Harvick Incorporated. His best finish is a pair of thirds.
