Larry Caron
From The Third Turn, a Wikia wiki
Larry Caron is a former NASCAR driver from Williston, VT. He competed in three Nationwide Series events in his career, earning one top-ten.
Caron's debut came in 1986, competing at Oxford Plains Speedway. Starting 29th in the forty-three car field, Caron fell some twelve laps down in the event but still managed a respectable 22nd place showing.
Caron again only competed in one race in the 1987 season, this go round showing in the Dover event. Starting 32nd in the field of thirty-seven, Caron only lasted eight laps before an ignition issue left him 36th.
But Caron's best race by far came when he returned to Oxford in 1988. Despite a poor 33rd starting position, Caron managed to complete all but one lap in route to a career-best 5th place finish.
