Johnny Sauter (born May 1, 1978) is a part-time NASCAR Sprint Cup driver of the #70Haas CNC Racing Chevy. no word on his 2008 plans. He was the 2001 American Speed Association champion. Sauter, along with co-driver Kevin Harvick, won the 2003 Owner's Nascar Busch Series Championship.
Johnny is the son of former NASCAR driver Jim Sauter, and the brother of NASCAR drivers Tim Sauter and Jay Sauter.
Sauter was the first driver to be fined and docked points for swearing during a post race radio interview, after a Busch series race in Las Vegas in February 2004.

Sauter made his Cup debut in 2003 driving 5 races in the #4 Kodak Pontiac for Morgan-McClure Motorsports, He had a best start of 20th and best fniish of 23rd. In 2004 he joined Richard Childress Racing driving the #30 (Now |#31) America Online Chevy. In late 2004 he went to drive for James Finch's #09 Miccousukee Indian Gaming Dodge and continued to drive for finch in 2005. In 2006 he went back to full time in Busch Series driving the #00 Yellow Transportation Chevy for Haas CNC Racing. In 2007 Haas decided to add a second cup car the #70 sponsored by Yellow Transportation which Sauter drives full time.
