Dan Obrist, born September 27, 1946 is a former NASCAR] driver from Portland, OR. He competed in one Nextel Cup and one Craftsman Truck Series event in his career.

Obrist's lone Cup race came in 1995, when he raced his own car into the race at Sonoma. Starting last (43rd), Obrist would also finish last after an ignition issue. He only completed seven laps.

Obrist also competed in a Craftsman Truck Series event in his career, coming in 1996 at Portland. Starting 28th in his Chevrolet Silverado, Obrist completed 193 of the 200 laps. That would lead to a 22nd place finish.
