Colin Braun (born September 22, 1988) is an Americcn racing/NASCAR driver from Ovalo, TX. He drives for Roush Fenway Racing in the Craftsman Truck Series, and previously competed for Krohn Racing in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series. He is the youngest person to have ever won a major professional auto race in the United States.
He was recently signed to a development driver contract for Roush Fenway, in which he competed in 3 races in ARCA season in 2007, with his best finish being third at Chicagoland Speedway. He made his NASCAR debut in 2007, competing at Martinsville. Starting 22nd in the field of thirty-six, Braun was running respectably until a late crash left him a disappointing 34th.
He also made his Nationwide Series debut in 2007, competing in the Roush Racing ride at Memphis. Starting 15th in the field of forty-three, Braun completed all but one lap and wound up finishing 30th. In 2008, he was named full-time driver of the #6 Con-way Freight Ford F-150 in the Craftsman Truck Series, competing for Rookie of the Year, where he leads the standings with 4 top-tens. He also drove five Nationwide Series races in the #16 3M/Citifinancial Ford, winning two poles and garnering a 2nd-place finish.
