Bobby Fisher

From The Third Turn, a Wikia wiki

Bobby Fisher is a former NASCAR driver from Vero Beach, FL. He competed in three Sprint Cup Series events in his career.

Fisher's debut came in 1978, when he competed at Nashville. Starting 20th in the field, Fisher only lasted thirty laps before a crash did him in for good and left him in last (29th). But it was still a better finish than Fisher would receive later in the year at Charlotte, losing an engine on the third lap and finishing last (40th) there as well.

Fisher's other race came in 1979, when he returned to Charlotte to compete in the World 600. Fisher again failed to finish the race, only lasting 136 of 400 laps to finish 31st.
