2010 Jimmie Johnson Foundation 100
The Race::2010 Jimmie Johnson Foundation 100 was a K & N Pro Series West event held at Track::Phoenix International Raceway on April 9, 2010. Eric Holmes captured his first ever series victory at Phoenix after coming so close to victory countless times before. This time, he was the one able to take advantage after the dominant car of Brett Moffitt tangled racing for the lead with Greg Pursley. Holmes then had to hold off defending series champ Jason Bowles. Pursley still finished 3rd after the Moffitt incident and took over the points lead.

Statistically Speaking
Edit
- This was Holmes' 10th career series victory, becoming just the 24th driver in series history to win ten or more West Series races.
- Jason Bowles (2nd), the defending series champion, returned to the series to finish second. It was his first race as a Richard Childress Racing development driver (driving for proxy team Golden Gate Racing) and, in his 40th series start, his first start not for popular car owner Bob Bruncati.
- Jonathon Gomez (4th) earned his first series top-five finish just one race after an apparent runner-up finish was taken away due to issues in post-race inspection.
- Stan Silva, Jr. (7th) and Todd Souza (8th) continued career-best streaks as Silva earned his third straight top-ten finish and Souza his fifth straight.
- Mike Self had a fantastic day, leading his first series race and gathering his first series top-ten when he brought his vehicle home 10th. Taylor Barton also earned his first series top-ten, showing 9th in what was only his second appearance on the tour.
- Toni Marie McCray, the daughter of former series winner Rick McCray made her first series start. Despite causing a caution for a blown tire near the halfway point of the race, McCray wound up 13th.
- Two older veterans of West Coast racing returned to the series after a prolonged haitus from the tour. Dennis Dyer (25th), a hero of the old Southwest Tour, made only his fourth series start and his first since 2007. Carl Harr, father of competitor Daryl was 26th in his first series start since 2006.
