The 2008 Strutmasters.com 150 was a Camping World East Series event held at South Boston Speedway on May 31, 2008. Brian Ickler won his second straight race, leading 149 of the 155 laps in route to a dominant triumph over teammates Austin Dillon and Peyton Sellers. Dillon still held a fourteen-point championship lead on Ickler regardless. Ickler survived a post-rose inspection scare, where it appeared for a number of days that an East Series driver would be disqualified for the third straight race.

Ricky Carmichael was the surprise pole sitter in just his third series start, pulling a lap of 16.043 seconds. Ickler would start on the outside pole and ultimately lead the first lap. Dillon started ninth. Despite the fact that the entry blank only listed thirty starters, the track and NASCAR made a last minute decision to allow thirty-two cars to start the race. That meant only Johnny Petrozelle (RES) would not qualify for the event, as he backed his car into the wall during practice.
