The 2008 O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 was a Craftsman Truck Series event held at Kansas Speedway on April 26, 2008. Ron Hornaday, Jr. put on a clinic to take his first victory of the year, leading 136 of the 167 laps and putting away teammate Jack Sprague after a late caution. Hornaday also took the points lead after Kyle Busch did not even compete in the event, with Hornaday sixty-one markers up on Rick Crawford (9th).

Hornaday began the weekend by winning his third pole of the year, clocking a speed of 170.46 mph. Up-and-comer Chad McCumbee joined him on the front row, while defending champion Erik Darnell started seventh. Points leader Kyle Busch did not attempt the race.
