2007 UAW-Daimler Chrysler 400
From The Third Turn, a Wikia wiki
The 2007 UAW-Daimler Chrysler 400 was a Nextel Cup (now Sprint Cup) event held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 11, 2007. In the first race at the newpaved track, many drivers complained of a lack of grip caused by hard tires. Jimmie Johnson had no complaints, winning his third straight race at the track and holding off Jeff Gordon by two and a half seconds. Points leader Mark Martin finished 5th and held a 6-point edge on Gordon. For the first time in 1421 races, no driver who started in the top ten finished in the top ten. Stats
