The 2007 Kobalt Tools 500 was a Nextel Cup (now Sprint Cup) Series event held at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 18, 2007. Jimmie Johnson won his second straight race, after drifting up the track with Tony Stewart and accidentally squeezing him into the wall. Mark Martin, despite the fact he was not going to the next race, finished 10th and held an 8-point cushion on Jeff Gordon (12th). Stats
