The 2006 Modified Mania was a Whelen Modified Tour event held at Thompson International Speedway on September 10, 2006. Eric Beers picked up his only win on the season, holding off Reggie Ruggiero. Points leader Mike Stefanik continued to roll along, picking up a 9th place finish.

Donny Lia picked up the pole, but during the mandatory post-qualifying redraw, Lia found himself shuffled back to ninth. Instead Ronnie Silk would start in the prime position. Eventual winner Eric Beers would start 5th while eventual season champ Stefanik was 9th.
