The 1986 First Union 400 was a Winston Cup (now Nextel Cup) event held at North Wilkesboro Speedway on April 20, 1986. Dale Earnhardt won his second straight event, leading 195 of 400 laps and holding off Ricky Rudd by two carlengths.
