The 1973 Hickory 276 was a Grand National East event held at Hickory Speedway on March 4, 1973. It was the season opener. Buddy Baker took the victory, while Bobby Allison, Vic Parsons, Harry Gant, and Charlie Blanton rounded out the top-five.
