The 1963-49 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Dog Track Speedway on September 24, 1963. Ned Jarrett won his eighth and final race of the year, leading 212 of the 300 laps in route. Joe Weatherly, the eventual season champion, kept it close late before settling for 2nd. Stats
