The 1959 Old Dominion 500 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Martinsville Speedway on September 27, 1959. Rex White won his fifth and final race of the year, leading 202 of the 500 laps in route to victory over polesitter Glen Wood. Eventual season champ Lee Petty finished 10th. Stats
